I've been on a photography kick the last couple of weeks and I took this one today... I usually shoot with studio lighting, but with this Larkspur flower I shot with a large window behind it. Then I used a white fill to deflect light back on to the flower, where it was in shadow
(because it was backlit against the window). It took me a few tries to get the tiny white stamen that was open in focus. It's really tiny! : )
