Pink Larspur

I've been on a photography kick the last couple of weeks and I took this one today...  I usually shoot with studio lighting, but with this Larkspur flower I shot with a large window behind it.  Then I used a white fill to deflect light back on to the flower, where it was in shadow (because it was backlit against the window).  It took me a few tries to get the tiny white stamen that was open in focus.  It's really tiny!  : )

    this is a very nice capture--really like your flower images--guess that's why I bought one at one of the shows :) hope you're working on more great shots for the upcoming season! great inspiration--thanks for sharing
