Coleman Natural Foods

About a week ago, I did a food shoot for Coleman Natural Foods.  I was asked by Coleman's Marketing Manager to shoot an image of their Smoked Chicken Andouille Sausage for a retail label for one of their product lines (Gerhard's).

We had to try a few different shots to get it to fit in the label and get the look that everyone was happy with... an image showcasing deliciously juicy Smoked Chicken Andouille Sausage!

It took some maneuvering to get the shot that everyone liked.  The struggle that we came across was that the final image for the retail label was going to be cropped to a square (almost).  I had to get the shot just so that the sausages, sliced sausages and rice was prominent in that almost square, keeping in mind where the graphic/text would go.  So I arranged the items (as you will see in the next shot) closer together and shot it vertically.

  This worked really well as you will see in the next couple of shots... cropped...
